Wedding Exhibition (21st October 2007) - 3 week countdown

My first 2007 exhibition since I started the business in 2005. Although, I have done the major wedding exhibitions in earls, it feels like I have never done an exhibition before. Let me give you a quick insight into what I provide. I make wedding accessories that are all handmade and of a bespoke nature. These ranges from wedding stationery, jewellery, tiaras etc and I also provide services such has venue decoration. What is making me nervous now is the fact that since my last major exhibition in 2006, I have added more products to my line (jewellery and tiaras) and this will be the first time that I would be exhibiting it at a show (not a major show, but still big in its own right). It is at the Kent Showground. I have had good feedbacks from brides that have ordered or would like to order the new ranges. But there is always that element of nervouness when there is a potential of over 500 visitors of whom 200 are likely to be brides (my target market) at the exhibition. I dont know if I should shower myself with the perfume "Agent Provocateur" or should I go with the Beckhams "Intimately Beckham for Him". Either scent should draw the attention of all 200 brides and more towards my exhibition stand (if only it was that easy, LOL). Although, am open to suggestion about what seductive scent I should wear on the day. Anyways, I plan on having at least 6 designs of each bespoke products that I supply. So far, I have about 15 designs of wedding stationery (and am still inventing new ones because I cannot decide which ones to go with), about 12 designs of the jewellery and tiaras, 3 designs of bouquets/florals. Without someone telling me, I know I should concentrate more on the bouquets but I always get drawn back to the stationery. And with only 3 weeks or so to go, there are other things that I need to prepare for which include trying to fit everything that I need in a 3x3m space without making it look cluthered. Any advice would be appreciated. In the past, spaces that I have used to exhibit has been bigger and more professional. But then, that cost thousands and was over a 3 day period. This exhibition is only a day from 10-4pm, so fingers cross. I intend to keep you updated over the countdown to the exhibition about how the plans are going. Right now, am going to spend the upcoming week making sure that I have all my fliers, props, products (of course), cash machine (but of course), price list etc ready and also start making a layout plan of how am going to display the products. Until next week, keep your fingers cross for me. www.theweddingaccessories.com
